Don’t let the decorative design fool you—The Lifetime 6446 shed is tough! Keep all your tools and garden equipment conveniently stored where you use them—in the yard. No more rummaging through the house or garage. The Lifetime 6446 shed also features several shelving units and peg strips to help you keep those tools organized and right at your fingertips. Constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and reinforced with powder-coated steel, this attractive outdoor shed is built to weather the storms year after year. Low maintenance and weather resistant. Best of all, no painting required! Made in the USA from US and imported parts. Not compatible with the Lifetime Extreme Weather Kit.

Consult local building codes before assembly. This shed must be built on a flat level foundation of wood or concrete (not included). It is designed with a slight indentation in each corner of the floor so that you can drill through the flooring to secure it to the foundation. Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Not including the installation of the foundation, you can expect assembly of the shed itself to take 2 adults up to 6 hours.

For more information about assembly, read the Owner's Manual Sample and watch our helpful video on How To Build A Lifetime Shed. (Components will vary between different models).

15' x 8' Garden Building is rated 4.1111 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from durable shed I have had this shed for over 4 years now and it has proven to be very durable in Utah weather. From the high winds to the freezing snow, and blistering summers the shed has never warped or leaked a drop. Greaat product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed shed I've had this shed for over a year and I am extremely satisfied. It looks as good as the day I put it up, having held up to snow, high winds, tree limbs, and four children. Assembly was not a one person job, but it was fairly simple. I strongly recommend this shed. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shed Option I just put this together. Tip for you - Take your time and read carefully! I haven't moved all my lawn and garden equipment in yet but it looks like this is going to be a perfect shed for me. The assembly was not too bad and I only had help during a few steps. It was actually a fun project. I had a treated framed base with treated plywood built to put it on. The quality of the shed seems adequate and it is certainly the best looking one on the market. I wish Lifetime would use a different fastener for the roof and wall panels other than a screw. Some sort of twist and lock type. Some of the screws tend to strip which is frustrating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value I purchased this building recently in addition to the 8X10 Lifetime Shed I have had for about 5 years now and am very satisfied with. It requires 2 people to assemble but I was able to do it by myself (not recommended unless no help available) using props and braces so it took considerably longer to complete. This shed doesn't come with the brown corner trim like the 8X10 so I ordered the trim for the 8X10 for a little extra $ and it fit perfectly. Now the two buildings match and look great together. I rated at 4 stars only because the instructions weren't very clear (especially some of the drawings) in some places resulting in wasted time. Also some of the roof panels were very difficult to fit in place. Overall the building is very attractive and the construction is sturdy and should last for many years with low maintenance. If it gets dirty just wash it off with a garden hose and it looks new again. I highly recommend this storage building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great I bought this shed over 10 months ago. I installed it on a concrete pad as that was the most suggested. I took great pains to ensure that the pad was level and square. I left about 2 inches of concrete on all sides to ensure I could center the building. I took my time assembling the trusses etc. I followed the processes outlined in the instructions. I did not have any problems with the instructions (but I referred to them often for clarification). I did have my wife help hold up some of the wall panels. Otherwise, I Could assemble most of it myself. Once I started on the building I took a couple of days to complete, maybe 6 plus hours each day. I braced it over night so it would not fall down if a wind came up. Make sure you lay out the material and hardware so you don't use the wrong screws etc. It may take a little ingenuity to make everything fit but it was not that hard. The last bottom corner piece of roof was actually the hardest to fit, but pushing on the building enabled me to align the holes for the screws. Don't over torque the screws at first. Otherwise, sometimes they will want to strip out. Once completed the building is very sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Storage Option Purchased this unit about two winters ago. I really needed more storage, but could not get myself to purchase one of the pre-built wood sold in the area. I made the decision when I found out two of my neighbors had already purchase and installed similar Lifetime models several years ago and they loved them.I wanted to do it right, so I had a nice foundation built out of treated lumber which I assembled the 8'x15' unit on. It had a few minor leaks in the roof which more than likely were because I did not tighten things down as instructed. It is a project to get it put together, took 3 of us about 3 days to complete. One bag of screws were not included so I had to spend a few bucks to complete it, no big deal. I keep all my lawn equipment, storage containers, and everything from bicycles to tables. If you think you need an 8'x10', get one size bigger, I wish I would have, you will fill it. Don't put it on the ground, build a solid foundation that you can secure it to and you'll be happy you did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many screws and pieces! I am a big fan of almost every LIFETIME product I own, just not this one! I'm a retired mechanic and it took 2 of us 14 hours to assemble. Instruction pictures are vague. Over 400 screws that must be installed by hand and many strip out far too easily even for plastic. 6 skylights that need 6 screws each and don't let much light in. Many of the parts could have been made to interlock without any screws. Worst of all it's not secure. The windows can be pushed in with very little force and should not have been made to open. In this day of computer aided design I think this was done with an abacus!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Shed I really like a lot about the shed. It is sturdy and attractive. I had the company install it so I don't know about assembly. I had a concrete pad poured because I heard that some people had trouble with the doors closing if things weren't perfectly square. Even though I had them assemble it and put it on concrete, after a few months the doors don't latch closed very well. I have to keep the lock on to keep the doors together and closed. Otherwise I don't have any complaints. I have had the shed for about a year.
